Our origins
The Native Choice (formerly known as Ivan and David Tours or David and Ivan Tours) is the most reputable local tour operator in Costa Maya, started in 2003 by David Villagomez and Ivan Cohuo, both natives of Chacchoben, with many years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry and with a few things in common, passion, love and respect for the Maya culture.
Our commitment
As the first local tour operator in Chacchoben, we're committed in delivering great excursions and creating memorable experiences for our visitors, at the same time we take an active roll in supporting our community with programs such as the Mayan Experience Tour which promotes involvement and extends the benefits of tourism to local people.

We have recruited talented and service oriented natives who share our philosophy, understand the local culture and are capable of transmitting it with the insight only a native can bring to a site.
